A lot of women concentrate on making their face and legs beautiful and flawless. Although there is nothing wrong with this, it might be better if women should also give ample attention to their arms and hands. No matter how much money you spend on making your face taut and wrinkle-free, if you don't take care of your arms and hands, your real age will still be visible because the hand is one body part that is prone to skin aging.
Aside from your legs and stomach, your hands and arms are also areas of your body that are exposed during summer. And it is impractical to wear long-sleeved shirts or jackets on the beach to hide their flaws. Thus, in order to have a beautiful overall appearance, it would be wise to put your efforts in making your hands softer and smoother and your arms slimmer.

Here are some of the things you can do to have gorgeous hands and arms:

  • Don't Forget To Moisturize
Your face is not the only part of your body that needs some attention. You also need to make sure that you apply lotion or cream on your arms in order to make it soft and wonderful to the touch. Since your hands are often exposed to soap, water, and other elements, you need to choose a special lotion that is just created for the hands to maintain their softness and smoothness. It is also advisable to bring the lotion or cream with you wherever you go so you can reapply every time you wash your hands with soap and water or when you expose your hands to harmful and drying elements such as alcohol, laundry detergent, bleach and many others.
  • Exfoliate
Dead skin cells pile up in every part of your body that has skin. Therefore you need to exfoliate not only your face and feet, but also your hands and arms. Many women have small spots on their shoulders and arms because they don't exfoliate them as much as they should. In order to prevent this, you need to use a body scrub to eliminate flaking and to get rid of the dead skin cells and reveal a healthier and more glowing skin layer.
  • Block The Sun
Many are already aware that the rays from the sun or heavy electrical lighting could cause premature aging and wrinkles on the face. In fact, many people, both men and women, already use sun block for their face, ears, neck and even eyes. However, they often forget to put sun protection on their hands and arms. As a result, their arms and hands age faster than their face. Unless you are wearing gloves or long-sleeved shirts, you need to put on sun protection for all of your exposed skin, including your hands and arms. Just make sure that the sun block you choose protects you from both the UVA and UVB rays.
  • Lift Some Weights
As you grow older, your arms start to become flabby because the skin on your arms looses elasticity. In order to prevent flabby arms, you need to tone your muscles. This will also help make your skin more flexible. Just carrying a few pounds and increasing your repetitions will drastically improve the appearance of your arms. But if you don't want to look like Popeye, make sure that the weight of your dumbbells are not very heavy. Ask your gym trainer what is the best weight for you to prevent having ultra-muscular arms.
  • Banish The Dimples
Women are susceptible of getting cellulites on their arms, regardless of the shape and weight of their body. Exercising and toning your muscles are the best ways to prevent the appearance of cellulite. However, if you already have those unsightly dimples on your arms, you better use an anti-cellulite cream, such as Celrase, to help minimize the appearance of this skin problem.
